Organization Name

Rogers Communications Canada Inc.

Description

The ability to 'Act as' a specific user to run reports and dashboards is a major asset when we are supporting high-profile end-users. If an end-user creates an incident for a data/report/dashboard or even an issue in accessing certain features of the tool, it will be a streamlined process to fix, support, and perform validation using 'Act as' proxy so that both object and data level of specific user will be incorporated in the validation. When we have many roles, data security settings in play, it is very hard to mimic what an end-user will see without this feature.

We cannot create mock-user and provide privileges similar to an end-user each time we want to mimic an end user's setting. This is very counterproductive and against the corporate policy in production environments.
