how to stop the element entry of absence final disbursement element for the termed employees

Hi Experts,

We have requirement to stop element entries for the employee population whose length of service is less than 1 year. I was able to control the payouts with Element skip formula, but the ask the element itself should not trigger if the LOS is less than 1 year, meaning we should not see its element entry under Element Entries tab and the element should not be considered under person results during pay runs. Is it a default behavior for Absence element to trigger final disbursement upon termination or can we control it somewhere even with formula ?
